She Does Look Familiar

Recalling a conversation about a particular artwork and its artist. But among artists people get to be familiar with each other's work. The statue really does have a familiar and lifelike quality. But (at the time) I'm not sure who that is. 

Now I'm like, 'Oh, she's the one that the blonde sculpture was made of, huh?' But is it a self portrait? Is the artist the model?
